Being imperfect and in love and loving an imperfect person is the subject of a beautiful new single from Bongeziwe Mabandla that is available to listen to now on all streaming platforms.
Titled “Noba Bangathini”, the single from the multi-award winning South African artist sees Mabandla lyrically exploring an aspect of love that many of us have encountered, accompanied by music that effortlessly demonstrates his musical growth. Listen closely and you can hear how producer Tiago Correia-Paulo set about recording multiple objects hitting each other for a story of two people colliding and fusing into one.
“For me, this song is about surviving and overcoming situations with someone else,” says Mabandla. “It’s about seeing all the obstacles and heartache that comes with sharing your life with another, but still choosing to do so, in spite of it all.”
