Bongeziwe Mabandla Extends International Tour with New Dates

Bongeziwe Mabandla is adding new dates to his international tour, taking Ndingubani to more cities across Europe and South Africa.

The new run follows a series of sold-out international performances for the multi-award-winning singer-songwriter. It also comes ahead of his EFG London Jazz Festival debut in November.

Mabandla will first head to Spain for Festival Noroeste in A Coruña on 5 August. He will then perform at Medicine Festival in Oxford, UK, on 16 August.

The European run continues in September. Mabandla will perform at Hop Pop Hop in Orléans, France, on 11 September. The following day, he heads to Guimarães, Portugal, for Mantra Festival. He will also perform at Komani Jazz Festival in Komani, South Africa, on 26 September.

October brings Mabandla back to South Africa for a series of performances. He will perform at Our Origin Festival at the Cradle of Humankind on 17 October. He then heads to Quigney in KuGompo City for a performance at House 87 on 23 October. On 25 October, he will perform at Nirox Sculpture Park as part of Good Neighbours.

In November, Mabandla returns to Europe for another run of international shows. He will perform at Le Trabendo in Paris on 14 November. The date follows his previous sold-out Paris performance and marks another opportunity to bring Ndingubani to French audiences.

On 19 November, Mabandla will make his EFG London Jazz Festival debut. He will then perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam on 20 November.

The new dates build on the international momentum surrounding Ndingubani. Released earlier this year, the album has taken Mabandla’s deeply personal songwriting to audiences across the world.

With more international performances on the way, Mabandla continues to expand his reach while bringing his latest body of work to new stages and audiences.
