DJ Lag’s 2026 world tour continues to gather momentum, with performances across Africa, Europe, North America, and South America already bringing his signature Gqom sound to audiences around the world.
Powered by SAMPRA, the tour highlights DJ Lag’s ongoing role as one of South Africa’s most influential electronic music exports. It also marks another major chapter in the global journey of Gqom, the genre he helped pioneer from Durban’s underground scene.
Since launching earlier this year, the tour has included performances at some of the world’s most respected venues and festivals. Highlights so far include Fabric in London, Baile Sagrado in Colombia, Tresor in Berlin, Ultra South Africa, and most recently Descendants in New York City. The New York performance formed part of DJ Lag’s first U.S. tour dates of 2026.
The tour continues through North America before returning to Europe in July. Upcoming appearances include stops in Chicago, Washington D.C., Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, and Afro Nation Portugal, one of the world’s largest celebrations of African music and culture.
Several additional dates are still expected to be announced.
