Stadium-sized Something for Clermont this April

In 2018, DJ Lag staged the first Something for Clermont as a way of sharing his music and growing success with his home crowd. On April 2nd, a special 4th edition of this hugely popular event takes place – this time in a stadium that is fitting for the launch of DJ Lag’s critically-acclaimed debut album, Meeting With The King.

Hosting Something for Clermont at Christianenburg Stadium in Clermont increases the event’s capacity to 2500 – necessary growth given the sold-up signs that went up last time around, causing some fans to break down gates in order to experience the show!

Some of the biggest names in Gqom will be at the blow-out event, showcasing the unique sounds and creativity that have emerged out of this part of South Africa. In celebration of Meeting With The King, the line-up will also include friends and family from Clermont as well some of the artists who have featured on DJ Lag’s debut record. Among those who will be taking the stage to perform tracks from the album live are Loki, Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha – and there will also be a performance by Joburg-based Amapiano hitmaker, Vigro Deep.
