From Sacred Spaces to 100 of the World’s Best DJs, DJ Lag’s legacy is confirmed in two landmark books

DJ Lag appears in not one but two recently published books recognising the most influential and important DJs of the moment.

The first is DJ Mag’s 100 of the World’s Best DJs – a global celebration of DJ culture. This limited-edition hardback book is packaged in a hardboard collector’s sleeve and printed on heavyweight paper stock and is strictly limited to just 3,000 copies.

Featuring stunning photography from DJ Mag’s 31-year archive and words from DJ Mag’s award-winning journalists, 100 of the World’s Best DJs is a fitting tribute to the incredible artists who have shaped the electronic music scene – including our very own DJ Lag.

DJ Lag also appears in Resident Advisor’s Sacred Spaces, a limited-edition book published as part of its 21st birthday celebrations. Designed by Berlin studio HelloMe, the 216-page book contains 26 love letters to nightlife by prominent figures in the scene.

Lag’s letter features alongside those by the likes of Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, Kevin Saunderson, Róisín Murphy and Eris Drew & Octo Octa. The book’s foreword was written by the legendary François Kevorkian, and explores the essence of “the underground” and club culture’s impact on societal change.
