DJ Lag has earned another career milestone as his hit single “Ngyasindelwa”, featuring Zee Nxumalo and K.C Driller, receives Gold certification from the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA).
Released as the opening track from his acclaimed Southside mixtape, the song quickly became one of the defining Gqom records of the summer. Its infectious production and memorable vocal performances resonated with audiences across South Africa and beyond.
Since its release, “Ngyasindelwa” has continued to gather momentum across streaming platforms, radio, and social media. The track also earned a nomination for Best Kwaito/Gqom Song at the Metro FM Music Awards, while Southside recently received a South African Music Award nomination for Best Gqom Album.
