Bongeziwe Mabandla has announced his upcoming fifth studio album, Ndingubani, set for release on 11 June.
Translating to “Who am I?”, the project sees Mabandla stepping into a deeply personal space — both asking and attempting to answer that question through his music. The album reflects a journey of introspection, shaped by time, growth, and the experiences that have defined him.
“This project is me asking and trying to answer that question: Who Am I? It’s taken time to get here — to understand the journey, and to sit with everything that’s come with it,” he shares.
The announcement follows the release of his recent singles “Yalwa” and “Zama”, offering an early glimpse into the sonic and emotional landscape of the album.
In a special fan-first initiative, a limited vinyl edition of Ndingubani will be available exclusively at his upcoming live shows, where audiences will also have the opportunity to hear the album ahead of its official release.
As anticipation builds, Ndingubani marks a significant new chapter in Bongeziwe Mabandla’s evolving artistic journey.
