Bokani Dyer Launches Trio Tour

Following the success of his Home at Last: A Bheki Mseleku Tribute performances, Bokani Dyer returns to the United States this June with his trio featuring Lumanyano Mzi and Tim Norton.

The tour marks the beginning of a new chapter for the ensemble. In addition, it introduces audiences to new and unreleased material from an upcoming collaborative project.

Dyer’s musical relationship with Mzi and Norton has already produced acclaimed work. Most notably, their previous trio album Neo Native earned Bokani Dyer a SAMA for Best Jazz Album.

Together, the trio continues to explore a sound rooted in improvisation, emotional depth, and contemporary South African jazz. As a result, audiences can expect performances that feel both intimate and expansive.

Known for his dynamic live shows and thoughtful compositions, Dyer will perform across New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Texas, and Philadelphia throughout June.
