IMPLSV Records is very proud to announce the third album from Cape Town’s Deep House artist Dwson titled A Tape For You.
Over his past two albums and many singles and EPs, Dwson’s music has found a global audience who feel the pure heart, soul and rhythm in his productions. Now August 2022 sees the release of A Tape For You which features this talented artist – and accomplished creative collaborator – team up with a number of music heavy-hitters. The result is an album of house music that showcases Dwson’s diverse and unique styles, signature melodies and thumping percussion and basslines.
A Tape For You includes collaborations with Jullian Gomes, Atjazz, Hyenah and many more.
“I wanted to create a playlist/tape to the deep house family, like one would make for a friend or lover,” says Dwson of his latest release. “This album has many shades, and ranges from slow moody songs to uptempo songs for the floor – an album for every Dwson fan.”
A Tape For You follows the release of a trio of singles in 2022 – “The Silence” featuring Hyenah and Apple Gule, “Weighless” with Atjazz and “Lover” with Jullian Gomes. All three singles feature on A Tape for You.
