Sho Madjozi has added yet another music award to her collection – this time by being named Best Artist South Africa at the 2022 Tanzania Music Awards.
The awards took place in Dar Es Salaam on April 2nd and were a real celebration of Tanzanian music, including for Nandy who won a trio of categories.
Nandy and Sho Madjozi recently collaborated on Nandy’s “Kunjani”, a creative coming together of two of Africa’s most talented artists – as their wins at the Tanzanian Music Awards showcase. “Kunjani” mixes the flavours of Nandy’s Tanzanian heritage with Sho Madjozi’s Tsonga roots and the irresistible track is captured on a high-energy, high-flying video which you can watch here.
