Alice Phoebe Lou’s ‘Skin Crawl’ Is Feminism Fire

In a way that is unmistakably Alice, she iterates that she “does not need Prince at her ball,” except to hold her cigarette butts, support her weight for a change, with a bunch of bare-skinned men – at her service. Catch the video above and pre-order the album here.

“The song was written as a reaction to sexual aggression & being tired of the words, the comments, the inappropriate touches. because for me, it’s the ‘little things’ that are the starting point of a broader culture of non consent & sexual aggression. and I just wanna feel cosy & safe & equal,” says Alice.
