LULU. shares new single “Yesterdays”

Today, burgeoning artist LULU. shares the uplifting new single, “Yesterdays”, featuring contributions from revered South African quintet The Joy, released via AMF Records (Greentea Peng, Loyle Carner, Olivia Dean).

Following on from LULU.’s critically acclaimed debut single “Save Me”, which received support from the likes of COLORS, Wonderland, Clash and Elton John’s Apple Music radio show ‘Rocket Hour’, “Yesterdays” (produced by Felix Joseph and AOD) reveals a different side to the rising star’s artistry. A vibrant record where the singer-songwriter offers warmth and hope with her inspiring lyricism, and a lively but forward-facing melody, it also boasts soothing vocals from The Joy; revered for their ability to spread euphoria with unique tones, transcending genre and continents alike.

“‘Yesterdays’ resonates with the times when I’ve been caught up with my past, ensnared by an unending cycle of regret and guilt from revisiting moments of days that are long gone. The song serves as a mirror for the listener, skillfully uniting the collective threads of our personal development. ‘Yesterdays’ is a heartfelt reminder that the best is yet to come, instilling confidence and self-assurance whilst encouraging us to let go of the burdens of who we used to be.” – LULU.
