“I know other writers have noted this numerous times already, but I’m super into how the Gqom King’s tracks never really actually drop. I mean, sure, there’s ebb and flow and shuffle to them, but DJ Lag’s new EP for Goon Club Allstars is a great argument for keeping things simple and working on an idea all the way to it’s logical conclusion. Or to put it another way; these tracks are just fucking sparse, big hitting tribal drum workouts. They’re great.”
