Ray Phiri readies seven-piece band for tour

Ray Phiri is currently rehearsing with a seven-piece band for his first tour since signing to Black Major.

The legendary South African composer, singer and guitarist will play the following dates, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. The live shows mark the much-anticipated, full-on return to the stage of an artist who has been important part of the South African music scene for over 40 years.

• 6 April: LIVE at The Orbit: First Thursday in Braamfontein
  20th May: AZGO, Maputo
• 26th May: Zakifo Festival, Durban
• 27th May: Africa Day, Johannesburg
• 3rd June: Sakifo, Reunion Island
